refresh/plugin issue

Postby GastonLagaffe » Mon Apr 24, 2017 11:02 pm

Salut Matt,

after today's refresh in the plugin manager, I get the attached screen and there is no selection option for additional items. I tried all I could imagine, so started pre10 instead of pre11 and tried with and without java7. When I loaded the old alpha22 version, I got he familiar options tree but that vanished as well after the refresh.

Ciao, Mathias
PS: I am in Palo Alto this week, so 9 hours behind

Sounds like a network issue. Maybe it's because you're in Palo Alto...?

See if you can manually fetch the file http://repo.uecide.org/uecide/dists/uec ... ackages.gz which is one of the package files for the master repo...

Salut Matt,
it is a problem with the proxy of the company network. At the hotel network, all is back to normal

Aha! Poxy proxy!

I could do with working out a better error capture and reporting arrangement (i.e., implement one) for the refreshing of the repositories.
