As a temporary fix, if you go to preferences, then "Editor -> Serial" you can add the port to the additional ports list. In the next release I will have it pick up all /dev/cu.* entries automatically.

On my system

Keiths-MBP:~ keith$ ls /dev/cu.*
/dev/cu.Bluetooth-Incoming-Port /dev/cu.wchusbserial1420
Keiths-MBP:~ keith$

Just the two, so no problem either way, its easy enough to just ignore the bluetooth

I shall just make it do /dev/cu.* then and not worry about cutting out bad ones.
